Isaiah’s Red Moon
Reading Isaiah this week. Isaiah prophecies about the house of God, the mountain of God, both images of the place where God dwells. The images are rich in this scripture. I decided to read it out loud and it seems to have affected me more than when I carelessly read through scripture [...]

Perspective
This video was sent to me by a friend recently. The video starts at 10 million light years from earth and progressively zooms all the way down to the quarks within a single proton of the nucleus of a carbon atom within a leaf of a tree at the FSU National High Magnetic Lab [...]

high dive…

no hesitation…
o for the faith of my childhood
come to me today
rescue me from burdened structures of faith
ever perceiving
always trusting
understanding
not proving but loving
testing but not deconstructing
reconstruction of a simple faith
in the face of complexity
acknowledging finiteness
jump [...]

Starting a blog…again
I believe this is the fourth time I have started a new blog. All of them have lasted no more than a few weeks, so we will see how it goes this time.
