More from the Orange Conference
Here’s a picture from the crew at Orange Conference.
On the trip I learned more about the concept of Orange. Orange revolves around the idea that the family and the church working together to minister to kids and students has an exponentially greater chance of succeeding in raising strong Christian leaders and building the Church. Yellow represents the Church as the light of God in the world. Red represents blood relationship and love of the family. The spiritual development of young people happens best when children’s ministry, student ministry and family join together creating…orange, a streamlined approach to raising kids that grow into adults who love Jesus. It’s the only conference I know of designed to bring together the whole family ministry team to stragegize and team build.
I also got to spend 3 days with our great children’s/youth staff. I especially learned alot about MD…

Ray – I enjoy your blog!
Why is Mike the only one not smiling in the photo? : )
Hope that you all learned a lot, and that we will see it all in action at both Foundry campuses.

Thanks for the comment Caroline. Glad to see you found my blog and have enjoyed it.
You’ll have to ask Mike about that one. It was the last day when the photo was taken, so maybe he was just tired of us
Hey Foundry peeps…thanks for the great comments about Orange. We had a wonderful time serving everyone there and hope to see the Foundry team back in 2009!
